Delphi resources

The World Wide Web holds many, many pages with Delphi related information. It is not my goal to give you a complete overview. In stead, I made a personal selection of sites that I feel every Delphi programmer should know about. Any remarks about broken links or suggestions for adding links to this page are very welcome. All links open in a new window.

efg's Computer Lab
Lots of resources for all computer programmers, and a large section of Delphi-related pages by guru Earl F. Glynn. Of particular interest for people looking for graphics related Delphi material.

J R Stockton's Home Page
Another quite varied resource for programmers and other computer scientists, including a Delphi section. Of particular interest for date and time related questions.

Torry's Delphi Pages
One of the most comprehensive resources on the Web. No Delphi programmer can afford not to look at it!

Sources of Numerical Analysis Code in Pascal
A wide variety of information on Pascal based numerical analysis with code examples, applications, pointers to books and web resources.

Delphi Super Page
Another big Delphi related online repository. Contains lots of information, components, etc. not found elsewhere.

Tamarack Associates Archive for Borland's Newsgroups
Invaluable tool to search through an archive of messages in Borland's Newsgroups.

Developer's Guide Coding Standards Document
By Xavier Pacheco and Steve Teixeira. This document has become one of the de facto standards over the last couple of years.

Information, components, news and other resources.

This book is not so much a learning book as well as a concise reference to Delphi and should be part of every developer's assets. Apart from this reference function, however, it also contains a well-written section on concurrent programming and a very good overview of Runtime Type Information. Those two chapters alone make it a great book. Available through Amazon or other sources.
